Futons accumulate moisture and dirt during daily sleep.
Even if the moisture and odors are gone,
the futon is not necessarily clean.
Futons used daily are dirty.

It is said that people sweat about one cup during sleep. Even if it doesn't look very dirty at first glance, sweat soaks into the futon. If left as is, the risk of odors, mold, mites, and other problems increases.

Important Notes
Types of comforters that cannot be washed
Comforters with silk outer fabric, silk-filled comforters, down comforters with heat-bonded tape, comforters with animal hair, and comforters that do not fit into the provided collection bag. Additionally, if a comforter is deemed unwashable for other reasons, the factory will contact you.
Refunds for unwashable comforters sent to the factory
If, after inspection at the factory before cleaning, a comforter is determined to be un-cleanable, we will contact the customer. Subsequently, the shipping fee (¥3,850 including tax) will be deducted from the cleaning cost and the remainder will be refunded.
Period from application to
delivery
We will deliver by express delivery as soon as it is ready. Normally, it takes about 30 days, but it may take 40-50 days depending on how busy the factory is.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the delivery time?
We will deliver to your home as soon as it is finished. Depending on the factory's workload, it may take 40-50 days from collection to delivery.
Does the price change depending on the size of the futon?
The price remains the same regardless of the size.
Is it possible to store the futon?
Yes, it is possible. Please also order the "Storage Option" set.
Can down comforters be washed?
They can be washed.
However, as an exception, down comforters with tape bonding instead of thread stitching are not handled because the tape bonding part may peel off during washing.
Can futons or mattresses other than comforters be cleaned?
We cannot accept futons (shikibuton), mattresses, or kotatsu futons.
What happens if the futon sent to the factory cannot be washed?
If there is a possibility that the futon cannot be washed, the factory will explain it to you by phone.
Is futon cleaning dry cleaning?
It is not dry cleaning. Dry cleaning struggles to remove salt stains, can damage the protective film of natural fibers, and may leave a chemical odor. However, with our water washing system, there are no such concerns.
I'm concerned about color bleeding and fading on the outer fabric. Is it okay?
Some fading or bleeding may occur.
Some futon fabrics are not designed to be washed, and therefore may be prone to color fading. We take measures in the process to prevent color transfer to other parts, but some fading and bleeding may still occur.
Will it shrink even if washed with water?
It may shrink slightly in some cases. Especially futons not designed for washing may shrink somewhat.
Is it effective in removing dust mites?
Yes. Allergens, which are one of the causes of atopy and childhood asthma, are said to come from dust mite feces and carcasses. These are removed by water washing.
Will odors and stains be completely removed?
It depends on the extent.
Odors are caused by bacteria and mold. These are reduced by washing. Stains vary depending on their type and severity. Stains that have been there for a long time or accumulated over years (yellowed stains, bloodstains, etc.) are difficult to remove, and stain removal may not be possible if it could damage the outer fabric.
What size is the collection bag?
Bag for 1 comforter: 570mm (W) x 400mm (H) x 350mm (D)
Bag for 2-3 comforters: 650mm (W) x 1000mm (H) x 440mm (D)
Is it okay to store the cleaned futon immediately?
The temperature difference with the outside air can lead to moisture buildup, causing fabric deterioration and mold growth.
Please remove the futon from the bag immediately upon arrival, air dry it in the shade for 2-3 hours, and then store it in a well-ventilated place.
Is it possible to specify the delivery date after cleaning?
Since cleaned futons are shipped sequentially, we cannot accept specified delivery dates. If you are unable to receive it, please use the re-delivery notice to set a new delivery date.
Which shipping company is used?
The futon collection bag and guide will be sent via Yamato Transport, and the cleaned products will be shipped via Sagawa Express. This may change in the future.
